Who is Chris Purdie? Try to guess during Provo's Gallery Stroll

If you want your brain to twist up like a squeezed lemon, check out Sego Art Center's "I Am Chris Purdie," a visual and performance art exhibit that's bound to cause some double-taking and head-scratching.
Tomorrow night (Mar. 6) from 6 - 9 p.m., Sego (169 N. University Ave. in Provo) will host a free opening reception during Provo's Gallery Stroll for a new display by local artist Chris Purdie. But during the reception, the art will come alive when a team of 30 actors, all impersonating Chris Purdie, disperse throughout the gallery to speak in-character with gallery patrons.
“The performers are the actual artwork,” says the real Chris Purdie in a Sego press release. “This kind of art creates a bridge between performance art and traditional art.”
Thusly, patrons can get to know both the art and the artist at the same time. But how will we know which "Chris Purdie" is the real deal? I don't know for sure, but it seems like it will be nearly impossible with all the time spent preparing.
Notes the press release, "Purdie spent the entire month of February becoming more acquainted with his actors through one-on-one meetings and group outings, spending more than 120 hours in private hang out sessions with the cast."
This is gonna be one hell of a "Where's Waldo" . . .
